Kamal Sarkar, Ph.D.
After more than 20 years of research experience in diversified industries, Kamla joined the academia to focus on teaching and research in the areas of nanomanufacturing and applications of nanomaterials in biomedical, medical device, and drug delivery applications.

- Received TIF (Texas Ignition Fund) for $50K as a Co-Investigator to explore potential commercialization of a safe, economic, and flexible nanomanufacturing method (Provisional Patents).
- Requested $531K for Major Research Instrumentation Program (MRI) for National science foundation for the University of Texas, Pan American, as a Co-PI. (Result Pending).
